Come join
us on the beautiful “Stewart Parkway” located
in downtown Washington, NC overlooking the Pamlico River.
Summer is about to begin and
what better way to start the season off by joining us for
the “2008 Washington Summer Festival” on the beautiful
downtown waterfront (Stewart Parkway). Our famous collector
“T-Shirt” sales will kick off our festival. You can
purchase your shirt from the Chamber Summer Festival
T-Shirt Booth located on the corner of Stewart
Parkway and Respess Street.
A family oriented event, the
Festival begins on Friday night. The food vendors will be
cooking their delights with everything from Seafood,
Bar-B-Q, Hamburgers & Hot Dogs, International foods and of
course the famous Funnel Cakes, Smoothies and Ice Cream. Our
Arts & Crafts vendors will display their wares for purchase.
There will be a great variety of homemade items as well as
Flags, Bird Houses, Yard ornaments, etc. There will be
children/adult amusement rides and games proved by Poythress
Entertainments of Wilson. What fun you will have riding the
rides and looking out over the Pamlico river.
On Friday night, come out for a great time with "The Extraordinaires".
