Spelling Bee 2012 010

Adult Team Trivia Bee

10/21/2014 6:00PM-7:30PM

How does the Bee work?

The moderator will ask the question and repeat it once. Your four–person team decides on the correct answer and writes it on a sheet of paper. A judge who is seated near you determines if the answer is correct. As long as your team answers the question correctly, you’re in the Bee. Until the final round, if you miss a question, you can buy it and still stay in the Bee.

Who will “Bee” there?

Business leaders, employees from area businesses, teachers, parents, education administrators, civic club members and non-profit organizations.

Will you “Bee” embarrassed if you can’t answer the question?

Of course not! Since you are on a team, there’s no chance of embarrassment. Plus, up until the elimination round, if your team cannot answer a question, you can buy it. Words can be purchased for $25 each to keep you in the game. You can pre-pay for words when you register to provide a little extra security! All word purchases are non-refundable donations.
