Christ Church and Grace Lutheran Church, both active churches in Washington for many years, are now worshiping together as one congregation – Grace Church: An Anglican- Lutheran Shared Ministry. Former pastor of Christ Church, Joshua Yoder, now serves both congregations. In the midst of today’s increasingly divided culture, both politically and socially, Christians focusing on their common goals rather than their denominational differences provides a refreshing new energy into the church. Grace Church’s hope is that this partnership will expand their ministry together into something that could be more robust and effective than their separate efforts have been.
